How2Revise is a revision website. It is not an emergency service, counselling service, school safeguarding team or confidential helpline.

Current public release
Revision support has a clear safety boundary.
The public reset and guided Biology practice open no pupil chat or disclosure box and send nothing to an AI provider. The controlled adult-managed test also offers selected schoolwork photos or PDF pages and source-grounded voice/avatar tutoring. It must not be used as a disclosure or counselling service. Photo checks and tutor instructions aim to stop and signpost safety concerns, but the live conversation safety evaluation is not yet approved for public release. They do not establish that a person is watching or that every harmful response will be prevented.
People before the tool
A pupil is directed to a safe trusted adult, Childline or emergency services—not into a longer conversation with a revision tool.

You do not need to tell this website the details.
If something frightening, unsafe or upsetting is happening:
- Stop the revision activity.
- Go to a trusted adult who is not involved—such as a safe parent or carer, teacher or another adult you trust.
- Call 999 if you or someone else is in immediate danger.
- Call Childline free on 0800 1111 if you want to speak to someone trained to help children.
Do not type your full name, home address, school, phone number, password or private details into How2Revise. If an approved tester uses the protected-photo route, crop or black out every private detail and inspect the exact copy before choosing Send.
When a concern reaches the company
It is not possible to promise secrecy about a child-safety concern. If a concern is sent to the company, access should be restricted and the minimum necessary information may need to be shared with police, children’s social care or another competent safeguarding authority to protect someone.
A parent is not automatically told where doing so could increase the risk or where an authority advises a different approach. The company should not investigate a disclosure, ask a child to collect evidence, diagnose them or ask them to confront anyone.

The company must name the accountable person, complete role-appropriate basic safeguarding training, approve a short UK-aware stop-and-signpost protocol, make sure a real person can handle incidents when the service is operating and pass synthetic incident tests. A focused external review is required wherever the completed evidence leaves a specialist question unresolved. How2Revise will not promise continuous monitoring or operate as a disclosure or counselling service.
